What Are The Domain Name Servers And General DNS Settings
If you have the cPanel/WHM Addon for your server then set up your domains to point to:
sns1.westservers.net
sns2.westservers.net
If you do NOT have the cPanel/WHM Addon for your server then you will have to set up and use custom nameservers.
It is also important to know that if you have cPanel/WHM and you are going to use our WestHost DNS, you need to install SSH keys for our nameservers to get their DNS zones correctly. This is done through your Dedicated Server Panel at https://cp.westhost.com/. Once there, go to Server Administration, then to Support Access. You will enter the root password and it will create the SSH key for you.
you will need the correct root password and you will need to check to make sure you can log in with SSH on port 22 in the first place to set this up.
