What Add-Ons Are Available in Site Manager


The following Add-Ons are available in Site Manager. You can click on each category for a description.

Select the Add-On Category from the drop-down menu and click Next.

The following are the Add-Ons that are available for Linux based Linux-based service packages and/or accounts:

Disk Add-On

  • Enter additional disk space Add-On and click Next. Hard quota is added to the account's hard quota and soft quota is added to the account's soft quota.

Bandwidth Add-On

  • Enter additional hard and soft limits for this property. Hard quota is added to the account's hard quota and soft quota is added to the account's soft quota. To enter a specific number, select Other and then enter the number. Select Unlimited to enable unlimited bandwidth to the account. Click Next.

Site Applications Add-On

  • Select the type of Site Applications for this Add-On. Site Applications are software components that can be installed by the account owner to give the account additional functionality. All Site Applications are added via the account's GUI.

    If you select a Site Application that has dependencies then you must also select all of its dependencies.

  • Site Applications with Max. Instances parameter: Some Site Applications can be installed more than once on the same account. For example, Apache error message. Enter the maximum number of instances for Site Application that the account with this Add-On shall be able to create. To enter a specific number, select Other and then enter the number. Select Unlimited to enable an unlimited number of instances for Site Application.

Click Next.

HTTP Add-On

  • Enter additional accounts for HTTP service. To enter a specific number, select Other and then enter the number. Select Unlimited to enable unlimited accounts for HTTP service. Click Next.
     

POP Add-On

  • Max Accounts: Define the additional number of accounts for POP service. To enter a specific number, select Other and then enter the number. Select the Unlimited checkbox to allow an unlimited number of accounts for service.

  • Max Processes: Define the additional number of processes for POP service in this account. To enter a specific number, select Other and then enter the number. Select the Unlimited checkbox to allow an unlimited number of processes for service.

  • Priority: Select the priority of the service's processes relative to processes in other accounts. Click Next.

SMTP Add-On

  • Max Accounts: Define the additional number of accounts for SMTP service. To enter a specific number, select Other and then enter the number. Select the Unlimited checkbox to allow an unlimited number of accounts for service.

  • Max Processes: Define the additional number of processes for SMTP service in this account. To enter a specific number, select Other and then enter the number. Select the Unlimited checkbox to allow an unlimited number of processes for service.

  • Priority: Select the priority of the service's processes relative to processes in other accounts.

  • POP before SMTP: Select the checkbox to enable POP before SMTP to account(s). POP before SMTP is a method for authenticating users before they send mail through a mail server. This method does not apply to local e-mail messages (e-mail messages from/to local e-mail accounts). If the feature is enabled, then the user must check for incoming e-mail messages before sending e-mail messages. For example: If you are using Outlook� Express� 6.0 then click the Receive All button before sending e-mail messages. The user must send the e-mail message during the interval that is defined in the POP before the SMTP field. Otherwise, he/she must click the Receive All button again.  

  • Click Next.

FTP Add-On

  • Max Accounts: Define the additional number of accounts for FTP service. To enter a specific number, select Other and then enter the number. Select the Unlimited checkbox to allow an unlimited number of accounts for service.

  • Max Processes: Define the additional number of processes for FTP service in this account. To enter a specific number, select Other and then enter the number. Select the Unlimited checkbox to allow an unlimited number of processes for service.

  • Priority: Select the priority of the service's processes relative to processes in other accounts.

  • Allow Anonymous FTP: Select the checkbox to enable anonymous FTP to account(s). This feature can only be activated on an account with a proprietary IP address. It is a method for giving users access to files so that they don't need to identify themselves when logging in.  The user name may be either anonymous' or 'FTP'. When logging in, leave the password field empty or enter any string.

  • Click Next.

Dedicated IP add-on

Dedicated IP: Click Next to enable dedicated IP for the accounts.  This add-on can be used for the name-based accounts to upgrade them to dedicated IPs.

Remote Access Add-On

Allow Remote Access: Click Next to enable access to account(s) via Telnet.

Additional Domains

Maximum Additional Domains: Enter the maximum number of domains that account with this Add-On shall be able to create. To enter a specific number, select Other and then enter the number. Select Unlimited to enable an unlimited number of domains. Click Next.
