WestHost 3.0 / SiteManager EOL


The product "SiteManager" / "WestHost 3.0" is END OF LIFE and is deprecated as of 30th June 2020. 

Westhost has been contacting customers for the past 12 months to inform them of this EOL. In the run-up to the actual closure date, customers were contacted to arrange assisted migrations to our new, more secure, CHI Platform. Furthermore, WestHost’s Support has been working around the clock to assist clients with these migrations. 

Upon retirement; access to accounts, data, and mailboxes on the WestHost 3.0 platform will no longer be available.

If you are a WestHost client that had services hosted on this environment please search your mailbox for messages from migrationsupport@westhost.com for details on how to access your new CHI Control Panel.  If you’re unable to locate this message, you can also reset your password by using the “Forgot my password” link, using your email address as the username 


We’ve gone to every effort to ensure this process has been as smooth as possible however we’re aware that not all clients make use of our Name servers. In those instances, users of this legacy platform will need to update their DNS records with their current DNS provider to reflect the changes to their hosting. 

 
To do this: 
 

  • Identify your current DNS Provider 

  • Login to your CHI Control Panel. 

  • Navigate to your Shared Hosting Package for your domain from the banner on the left-side of the screen 

  • Using the banner at the top of the screen, select “CPanel 

  • Once logged in, the IP address needed to update your domains A-Record(s) can be found on the right-hand side of the CPanel portal. 

  • Login to your DNS control panel with your current provider and update your DNS records to reflect this change. 

 

We’ve also migrated as many of our customers as possible from our hosted email service. Users who have also had their accounts and mailbox data migrated have been contacted. Your new mailbox settings can be found here:
