Please Note: You'll need to have set up the mailboxes within Westhost first using the same password as currently used by the mailbox. Here's how to set up a mailbox.

How to Use the Email Migration Tool

1. Log into your Westhost CHI I account
   
2. Click 'Email Hosting' from the left-hand menu, then click the orange 'Manage StackCP' button next to the domain you wish to access
   
3. This will open up the StackCP control panel in a new browser tab. Once this has opened, click the 'Email Migration' icon
   
   
   
4. Enter the relevant credentials:
   Hostname - This will be the hostname of the mailserver that you are syncing your emails from. If you're not sure what this is then it may be worth asking your previous hosting provider what this is. 
   Username - This will be the mailbox that you are syncing. 
   Password - This will be the password of the mailbox at your previous host. Please note: you'll need to have set up the mailboxes within your Westhost account first using the same password as currently used by the mailbox. 
5. Then select the mailbox you wish to sync the mail into:
   
   
   
   
6. Click the 'Sync' button, and this will then initiate the migration and copy across the contents of the mailbox into your Westhost email account
   
7. There is a section at the bottom of the 'Email Migration' page where you can monitor the progress of the migration and see when it is complete etc.
   
   
   
   
8. This section will also advise if the migration fails, and will provide error logs to help you diagnose the reason for the failure.
