Run the following from the command line for your account to try and resolve this issue.
We can see the interface isn’t raised.
[dl-572-## ~]# ifconfig | grep 68.169.35.##
[dl-572-## ~]#
[dl-572-## ~]# grep 68.169.35.## /etc/ips
68.169.35.##:255.255.255.0:68.169.35.255
It is, so we can try using the ipaliases script to bring it up
/etc/init.d/ipaliases restart
[dl-572-## ~]# ifconfig | grep 68.169.35.##
inet addr:68.169.35.## Bcast:68.169.35.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
Now it should be back up.
If it wasn’t in /etc/ips then you could just manually add an entry for it and use the ipaliases script to bring it up.
