With an unmanaged dedicated server, you will access your account through our KVM Manager. Your server comes equipped with a baseboard management controller (BMC) for Intelligent Platform Management Interface support, including console access (KVM).
You can find the login details at https://cp.westhost.com >> Dedicated Servers >> Server Administration >> Remote Access. This will display the Server Control Panel hostname [something like http://YourServerIP] as well as the BMC username [usually wcaadmin], and the associated password.
You may also access your server remotely by running the IPMI View java application (download the latest version) using the login information you find in the steps above.
