POP and SMTP
Select the checkbox of service to enable it for an account.
Max Processes: Define the maximum number of processes for each service in this account. To enter a specific number, select Other and then enter the number. Select the Unlimited checkbox to allow an unlimited number of processes for service.
Max Accounts: Define the maximum number of accounts for service. To enter a specific number, select Other and then enter the number. Select the Unlimited checkbox to allow an unlimited number of accounts for service.
Priority: Select the priority of the service's processes relative to processes in other accounts.
Additional properties for SMTP:
POP before SMTP: Select the checkbox to enable POP before SMTP to account(s). POP before SMTP is a method for authenticating users before they send mail through a mail server. This method does not apply to local e-mail messages (e-mail messages from/to local e-mail accounts). If the feature is enabled, then the user must check for incoming e-mail messages before sending e-mail messages. For example: If you are using Outlook� Express� 6.0 then click the Receive All button before sending e-mail messages. The user must send the e-mail message during the interval that is defined in the POP before the SMTP field. Otherwise, he/she must click the Receive All button again.
Server Type: Select the server type from the drop-down.
Command-line alias: Select this to enable command-line aliases.
